Puppet Festival
The Skirball celebrates the art of puppetry during this festive day of performances, art making, and new and classic tales told through marionettes, shadow, and full-body puppets.
The program brings together some of Southern California’s most talented puppeteers and artists working in a wide range of cultural and artistic styles.
Guests can enjoy puppetry performances, puppet parties - where festivalgoers and puppeteers meet up to enjoy live music together, and the opportunity to make their own puppet friend to join in on the fun.
The day ends with grand procession of puppets.
Space in limited, and advance tickets are advised. The price includes Museum admission; limited Noah's Ark tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis only.
Advance tickets are recommended, online or by calling 877.722.4849.
PLEASE NOTE: Caltrans has closed the northbound 405 exit at Skirball Center Drive until further notice. When traveling northbound on the 405, please exit Getty Center Drive and head north on Sepulveda Blvd to either Skirball Center Drive or Herscher Way.
